The Canadian Indigenous Conservation Innovation Centre Association (CICICA) is Canada’s first Indigenous-led charity dedicated to supporting the establishment, governance, and management of Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas (IPCAs) and IPCA Innovation Centres.

CICICA builds capacity and understanding of IPCA Innovation Centres through several initiatives, including the Westcoast IPCA Support Program (WISP), working closely with the IISAAK OLAM Foundation (IOF). 

CICICA and IOF co-host the annual Estuary to Old Growth Gathering (E2OG), an event that brings together Indigenous Nations, governments, and communities along the Pacific West Coast to strengthen relationships and honour our shared responsibilities to the lands and waters that connect us—from estuaries to old growth forests.

CICICA serves as a trusted vehicle for funders to support the IPCA Movement, ensuring that resources flow efficiently and transparently where they are most needed.
